Charlie Noble are an American company based in Maryland. They have a ten juice range and they are varying VG/PG mixes which I will state as I go through the review.

I went to Vape Jam UK 3 this year and had a really enjoyable time (you can read about my visit by clicking here). I met lots of companies that I hadn’t met before and some that I knew very well. I met a fantastic bloke by the name of Rogier from Hardcore Vapersa distribution company based in Holland. I had a great chat with him and tried all of the juice ranges that were on offer including Slam Cake, E-Phoenix, Cafe Racer (which I have come across before, great juice), Dvtch Amsterdam (You can check out my review by clicking here) and Charlie Noble which I have for you today.

We swapped details with the idea of contacting each other after the event, throughout the event I met people I knew and they would me if there was anything that stood out and the first thing that came to mind was the Hardcore Vapers stand, I had been really impressed.

A week after Vape Jam Rogier contacted me with regards to doing a review and we organised for him to send me some juice. For the purpose of review Rogier sent me two ranges Charlie Noble and Dvtch Amsterdam (You can check out my review by clicking here).

It had been a late decision, but I was to meet up with Rogier again as they were also in attendance at the Vaper Expo UK – The Big Weekend (you can check out my visit by clicking here) it was an awesome weekend.

I have mentioned many times before that going to events and trying juice can come across as being amazing and then you buy some, get it home and into your own device and it doesn’t quite live up to expectation. Please read on and let’s take a look and see what I think of these juices.

The review I will be conducting will be a scent test from the open bottle of juice and then a flavour test on the devices listed below.

With no further a do, I’ll get on with the review.

Devices used:

  • Joyetech Cuboid 150W @ 70watts, Geekvape Tsunami 24 with Dual Clapton 0.8ohm coils, wicked with Kendo Cotton
  • Aspire Pegasus 70W @ 40watts, Aspire Triton2 with Clapton 0.5ohm coil
  • Innokin CoolFire plus 70W @ 40watts, Aspire Cleito with 0.4ohm coil

Blue Bay – 72VG/28PG

Scent: pomegranate, hint of blueberry and lemon.

Flavour: a very fruity number, my first thoughts were drawn to a slight bubblegum flavour on the exhale. This is because the flavours used are often found in a fruit bubblegum, there isn’t any bubblegum flavouring in this juice, does that make sense?

On the inhale I get a sweet lemon and right at the back a pomegranate comes in. On to the exhale and the lemon moves backwards and the pomegranate stays true through the vape. As the exhale starts a sweet blueberry pops up to join the pomegranate giving that slight fruity bubblegum flavour for me. Leaving my palate all fruity. An ADV for me.

VP Review Rating: 7/10

Captain Charleston Gray – 74VG/26PG

Scent: sweet watermelon.

Flavour: this is definitely a watermelon sweet/candy, but the watermelon is really fruity and the candy flavour is more of a back note. Though sweet I find it very mouth watering.

On the inhale I get this wonderful juicy watermelon which just gets my taste buds excited. On to the exhale and the watermelon just blossoms. Very sweet and with candied back notes makes for an ADV for me.

VP Review Rating: 8/10

Charlie’s Custard – 77VG/23PG

Scent: custard.

Flavour: this is very much like a custard tart for me. A delicious creamy custard in a light pastry case.

On the inhale I get a mild touch of custard which builds as I draw in. But it is all about the exhale, the custard explodes on to the palate with a hint of pastry in the background and it finishes with a flurry of creamy notes. For those of you who love a custard vape this is a must try and will most probably be an ADV for you. For me also an ADV.

Neptune’s Nectar – 75VG/25PG

Scent: creamy banana.

Flavour: for me this juice comes across as a creamy banana, rather than bananas and cream. In the background there is a soft strawberry on the exhale. Not usually one for a banana vape but I find this a little heavenly.

On the inhale I get a rich banana cream which is accentuated on the exhale. Joining the affray is a soft juicy strawberry. This juice leaves my palate all creamy. An ADV for me.

VP Review Rating: 8/10

Pistachio RY4 – 80VG/20PG

Scent: caramel with a hint of tobacco.

Flavour: oh wow, this is lovely. I’m not usually one for a tobacco vape, but with this juice the tobacco is delicately balanced in the background. With a beautiful soft creamy caramel and there is a nutty tasty that really gives this juice some body.

On the inhale I get a wonderful soft creamy caramel. On to the exhale and the caramel remains right through the vape. It is joined by some lovely nutty tones and there is a light tobacco drifting around in the background. Is it an ADV? I think it is.

VP Review Rating: 9/10

Shellback Slush – 73VG/27PG

Scent: mango with citrus notes.

Flavour: wow, just wow. I find this a great mix and there is the slightest hint of koolada with a wonderful blend of tropical fruits. Mango and pineapple being the most prominent, but there is this lovely orange which joins in on the exhale and most definitely there right at the end of the vape. I don’t usually like a vape with koolada/menthol but I love how they have done this juice.

On the inhale I get a ripe sweet mango which is joined by a pineapple that starts to come through. On to the exhale and the pineapple pushes through further with a back note of an orange and there is the slightest suggestion of koodala too. The orange pushes through right at the end of the exhale and sits on my palate to finish. An ADV for me.

VP Review Rating: 10/10

Siren Song – 72VG/28PG

Scent: strawberries and cream.

Flavour: a really good take on a classic and very popular flavour.

Fresh strawberries on the inhale which are joined by a rich cream. On to the exhale and this is accentuated and the flavours become intertwined. A great ADV.

VP Review Rating: 7/10

Soller’s Point – 76VG/24PG

Scent: vanilla and caramel.

Flavour: well, that was a surprise, a good surprise. This juice for me is a toffee banana with a hint of tobacco. Over recent months I have been really impressed at how companies have blended tobacco with all sorts of flavours that I wouldn’t think of putting together and they really work. This is a really good juice.

On the inhale I am met with a soft caramel which turns slowly into a caramelised banana. On to the exhale and this just accentuates with tones of a light tobacco in the background. Its not quite an ADV for me, but it is something I would have from time to time.

VP Review Rating: 8/10

Stroopwafel – 72VG/28PG

Scent: sweet waffles.

Flavour: oh yum, sugar coated waffles with caramel. Delightful.

On the inhale I get this wonderful baked waffles, slightly sweetened. On to the exhale and waffle keeps building up, there is a soft caramel which is a back note and there are hints to some spices, I think one of them is nutmeg maybe even a little cinnamon. Very morish and an ADV for me.

VP Review Rating: 7/10

Tripoli – 80VG/20PG

Scent: heavy fruit.

Flavour: so this is another fine tobacco blend. As with the others I like because it is not a tobacco that is overpowering. This is a blend of tobacco a dark rich sweet fruit, like a fig an there is a slight nutty tone to it. Right at the back of the exhale it almost comes across creamy.

On the inhale I get the rich fruitiness of the fig with the blend of tobacco. On to the exhale and this is accentuated with the addition of a nut dancing around in the background and for me a light creamy finish. An ADV for me.

VP Review Rating: 9/10

So to my conclusion, I find that Charlie Noble have brought some excellent juices to the market. With some slightly different recipes that we can find on the market and some excellent tobacco flavours that I think will be enjoyed by a wide audience. All the juices are consistent, delivering a full-bodied flavour and producing some excellent vapour. I have been really impressed with the tobacco range particularly and love the Shellback Slush.

The samples I received came in boxes and were unicorn style bottles with child safety caps and tamper rings. All the juices are TPD/TRPR compliant. I love the logo and the design of the labels. I love the design work on the website. The website is clear and easy to navigate and has some wonderful imagery. The Hardcore Vapers is equally pleasant but with a more simplistic look to it, also clear and easy to navigate.
