VP VAPING REVIEW: ELDA ELIQUIDS

Elda E-Liquids are a Croatian company based in Nova Gradiska. They have a large amount of juices over many ranges. Elda was one of the very first manufacturers of e-liquid in Europe, starting out in 2008.

I went to Vaper Expo UK – The Big Weekend this year and had a really enjoyable time (you can read about my visit by clicking here). I met lots of companies that I hadn’t met before and some that I knew very well. One of the companies I hadn’t met before was Elda E-Liquids, I had a chat with the Mirela of Elda E-Liquids and tried some of their flavours. We talked about doing a review and Mirela sent me four from their range for the purpose of review. I believe they are a 70VG/30PG mix.

When I received the juices, I also received a child safety box of 2ml samples of more of the range, I really like how they have done this. Check the image below.

I have mentioned many times before that going to events and trying juice can come across as being amazing and then you buy some, get it home and into your own device and it doesn’t quite live up to expectation. Please read on and let’s take a look and see what I think of these juices.

The review I will be conducting will be a scent test from the open bottle of juice and then a flavour test on the devices listed below.

With no further a do, I’ll get on with the review.

Devices used:

  • Joyetech Cuboid 150W @ 70watts, Geekvape Tsunami 24 with Dual Clapton 0.8ohm coils, wicked with Kendo Cotton
  • Aspire Pegasus 70W @ 40watts, Aspire Triton2 with Clapton 0.5ohm coil
  • Innokin CoolFire plus 70W @ 40watts, Aspire Cleito with 0.4ohm coil

Tropical

Scent: melon with other tropical notes.

Flavour: with mainly a melon flavour to it, there are other tropical flavours dancing around in the background, but I cannot clearly define them.

On the inhale I get a sweet melon to start with a tropical blend coming in later. On to the exhale and the melon moves further back and the tropical blend (like a fruit juice) pushes further forward with sweet notes dancing around. An ADV for me.

Pink Lemonade

Scent: sharp lemonade.

Flavour: this is lovely. It does remind me of a lemon sherbet though. It comes across soft and the lemon is really well done, with some lovely sharp notes, but enough sweetness to round off the edges.

On the inhale I get a lovely soft lemon. On to the exhale and the lemon is accentuated turning into a delightful sweet lemonade that isn’t too sharp and it gives the sensation of a fizz right at the end of the exhale. Lovely and smooth, making for an ADV for me.

Juicy

Scent: strawberry and melon.

Flavour: it comes across like a light fruity bubblegum. Verging more towards the fruity side rather than the bubblegum. I’m not a huge fan of bubblegum, but it is more of a hint than a full-bodied bubblegum. So I find it pleasurable.

On the inhale I get a strawberry first and it is closely joined by a melon. On to the exhale and the melon disappears with what I think is a light banana coming in and then a slight hint towards a bubblegum right at the end of the exhale. An ADV for me.

 Milkshake

Scent: strawberry milkshake.

Flavour: strawberry milkshake is a flavour that has been done by quite a few companies and some do it well and others not so well. This juice is a good flavour giving me a lovely creamy strawberry, but I’m afraid it doesn’t give me the wow factor.

On the inhale I get a strawberry cream that builds into the inhale. On to the exhale there is a spike of strawberry (more like a strawberry syrup) right at the beginning and then returns back to the soft creamy strawberry cream that it started out as. I don’t get the taste of milk at all. But I prefer it the way it is and makes for an ADV.

So to my conclusion, I find that Elda E-Liquids have brought four good juices to the market. This is one of those cases where they did taste better at the event I’m afraid. They all deliver some good flavour and produce some great vapour. I am however a little disappointed.

The samples I received came in unicorn style bottles with child safety caps and tamper rings. They also came in boxes, they are all TPD/TRPR compliant. I love the foil effect labeling all in bright colours which make them stand out. They have a great website which is clear and easy to navigate. But, I can not find this range on their website, maybe due to the range being very new. I don’t know, I will update as and when I find out.
