VP VAPING REVIEW: FROOT VAPES – PART 2

Froot Vape are an American company. They have a two juice range that are a 70VG/30PG mix.

I went to Vaper Expo UK – The Big Weekend and had an excellent time (you can read about that by clicking here). There was a wealth of companies that I hadn’t seen or met before, VapeOrders.com was one of them, a wholesale distribution company and I was really impressed with some of the juices they were showcasing.

I spoke with Oskar about the business and the juices on offer, Oskar asked me if I would do a review on Froot Vape – Razberi and if you would like to check that out please click here.

After I had published the Razberi review I was contact by Froot Vapes and Oskar and asked if I would like to review the Bango aswell. I was delighted because when reviewing it is good to see the whole range to check if there is consistency and quality through the range. Bango has a lot to live up to, as I really  thought highly of Razberi, also I am quite particular about how banana and mango are done in a juice for me to enjoy it, please read on and see what I thought.

The review I will be conducting will be a scent test from the open bottle of juice and then a flavour test on the devices listed below.

With no further a do, I’ll get on with the review.

Devices used:

  • Joyetech Cuboid 150W @ 70watts, Geekvape Tsunami 24 with Dual Clapton 0.8ohm coils, wicked with Kendo Cotton
  • Aspire Pegasus 70W @ 40watts, Aspire Triton2 with Clapton 0.5ohm coil
  • Innokin CoolFire plus 70W @ 40watts, Aspire Cleito with 0.4ohm coil

Bango

Scent: mango with ripe banana.

Flavour: this is a very fine blend. It comes across a bit like a smoothie, in the sense that the two fruit have been blended together not put together. I’m sitting here trying to decide whether I am impressed or disappointed and I think it is a fine line. I shall try to explain.

I am impressed because the likeness of these two fruit blended together is phenomenal. But in the same breath, due to our desire to improve everything we become use to things, flavours being enhanced and vaping is no exception. Other mango juices taste of mango but do they really taste as if you had a piece of mango, no they don’t. But we get use to that and that is what we come to expect.

After saying all that, there is a part of me saying that this juice needs the mango a little sweeter, a little juicier. The other part of me is saying that this juice is delivering a more true to likeness than you will find on the market.

On the inhale I get the start of the mango coming through. For me it all happens in the exhale, the mango comes in with hints to bitter notes and those distinctive notes that mango has. It is closely followed in by a very ripe banana which adds the sweet notes. These two fruits become very much intertwined producing this unique flavour. An ADV for me .

VP Review Rating: 7/10

“So to my conclusion, I find that Froot Vape have brought an excellent juice to the market. Delivering a fantastic likeness to the real thing. A full bodied flavour which produces some excellent vapour. It is fully TPD/TRPR compliant and comes in miniature gorilla bottles with child safety caps and tamper rings. It is available in the UK. I love the labelling and the design work, they really stand out for me. The packaging just tells you this is good juice. They have a great website which is very bright and colourful, it is clear and easy to navigate and has a great blog too. After trying this juice, I’m going to go looking for their other flavour Bango, would love to check out their take on this flavour.”

I still stand by what I wrote in my previous review, just wanted to add that I have been really impressed with both juices. It seems to me that the company has stood by some values to deliver a true likeness of what they set out to do and I respect that. Bango did have a lot to live up to and for me Razberi does steals the show. But that maybe just down to my love for a raspberry vape and there will be others that think the opposite.

Well done Froot Vapes you definitely have another fan here. I will certainly be keeping my eye out for what is next out of your kitchen and flights permitting I’ll be at the front of the queue to try them out.
